Job Title: Network Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Planning Manager to drive our growth in Australia.

This role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of intercity travel in Australia, requiring a strong understanding of the country's geography and travel demand patterns.

The ideal candidate will have experience in network planning, transportation planning or a related field, with a solid business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive network growth and profitability.

This role involves working closely with Business Development, Revenue Management, Operations, and local teams to plan, align, and launch new bus lines, track and analyse network performance using data, and improve and optimise routes, frequencies, and schedules.

About the Role
  • Plan and design a robust and scalable network for Australia.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, align, and launch new bus lines.
  • Lead network launches by driving planning, execution, and successful handovers to internal stakeholders.
  • Track and analyse network performance using data to understand trends and make informed decisions.
  • Improve and optimise routes, frequencies, and schedules to increase efficiency and profitability.
About You
  • Masters degree in economics, urban planning, geographical engineering, transportation or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in network planning, transportation planning from mobility/travel or related industry, preferably within a global setup.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make informed decisions.
  • Solid business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive network growth and profitability.
  • Proficient in using planning software, Power BI, Excel, Cubes, and other network planning tools.
  • Fluent English language skills and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
