We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardised tests and informal evaluations.
  • Develop and implement Individualised Therapy Plans (ITPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
  • Work closely with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and specialised instructional strategies.
  • Patient, empathetic and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
