Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting activities, including vouching, filing, and maintaining books of accounts. Investigate variances, analyze revenue trends, and develop revenue budgets. Update revenue forecasts, oversee accounts receivable, manage overdue accounts, and monitor aging reports.
Statutory Compliance
  • Develop good knowledge of GST and provide timely reports or confirmation to the internal tax team. Assist in preparing annual financial statements, compiling audit schedules, and preparing MIS reports on time. Send monthly revenue statements and prepare financial reports using PowerPoint.
Process Improvement
  • Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements and automation tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual errors, and increase productivity. Provide training and support to junior staff and team members.

Minimum required qualifications: Commerce graduate with 3+ years of practical accounting experience (preferably in a service industry). Desired/Preferred Skills: excellent communication skills in English, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a target-oriented environment under pressure, conversant with Microsoft Office, experience with Tally ERP, and flexibility.
