We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Growth Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accelerating Business Growth: Strategize and track progress of business acceleration in line with committed plans.
- Identifying Opportunities: Identify both leading and lagging indicators, create metrics that predict future sales performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Closely Tracking Performance: Closely track revenue, margin, growth, reach, KPIs, recommendations, engagements etc. in line with the acceleration plan.
- Collaborating with Sales Team: Work with the Sales team to identify gaps and implement plans to close sales gaps.
- Tapping New Channels: Build contingencies through tapping new channels/geographies to support trade execution.
- Working with Trade Marketing and Trade Sales Teams: Work closely with the Trade Marketing and Trade Sales team on building up and reviewing sales plans.
You will also be responsible for developing business in specific markets within the country.
- Developing Markets: Focus on developing Abbott business in specific markets for both Ethical and Trade.
- Identifying New Opportunities: Identify new market opportunities, building relationships with key external stakeholders, and lead initiatives to strengthen our business in key markets.
Additionally, you will support Modern Trade and TT teams in developing our business.
- Create Comprehensive Sales Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to both Modern Trade and Traditional Trade channels to drive business growth.
- Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape specific to Modern Trade and TT channels.
- Building Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients like Reliance, D-Mart and standalone supermarkets in South.

- Solid Business Acumen: Solid business acumen with in-depth financial knowledge and experience in strategy or sales and marketing.
- Strong Problem-Solver: Strong problem-solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide answers.
- Ability to Manage Across Organizational Boundaries: Ability to manage across organizational boundaries and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills and exposure to market research, analytics.
- Ability to Form Strong Relationships: Ability to form strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Superior Communication Skills: Superior communication skills (written, presentation, speaking, listening).
- Energetic Individual: Energetic individual with a strong commitment for continuous improvement.
- Ability to Navigate Matrix Organization: Ability to navigate the matrix organization in an objective and collaborative manner.
