Job Description:

The role of the Executive Director of Governance and Compliance involves overseeing the implementation of the organization's governance, risk, and compliance program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk assessments and profiling for business units and operational activities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and adapt risk management practices accordingly to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain policies/processes that align with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies to promote a culture of compliance.
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders to understand processes and document controls to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide oversight and challenge business units on risk management practices to drive improvement.
  • Promote a unified view of risk through risk aggregation exercises to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage advanced technologies and data analytics in risk management to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for risk-related matters pertaining to business and operations to provide expert guidance and support.
