Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial management skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's financial functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, invoices, and expense reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and minimize financial risk.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial data to identify insights and areas for cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or similar are advantageous.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
  • Experience in an educational or corporate environment is a plus.
