About Us: The Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi is a leading institution driving innovation and technology transfer. We are seeking an exceptional Financial Director to lead our financial operations and drive growth.

Estimated Salary: ₹ 25 lakhs per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description: As the Financial Director, you will be responsible for leading our financial and accounting operations, developing financial strategies to support organizational growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory schemes and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement robust financial management protocols, risk management systems, and financial reporting processes to ensure efficiency and transparency.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with our leadership team to align financial goals with organizational objectives, secure funding, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with Ministry of Corporate Affairs norms, navigate government schemes and policies, and manage structured board meetings to promote transparency and accountability.
  • Startup and Innovation Ecosystem: Support financial planning and structuring for startups within our innovation ecosystem and build partnerships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead projects related to financial structures, organizational sustainability, and cash flow management, and ensure the successful execution of financial initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in managing financial operations for public, private, and/or academic institutions.
  • Proficiency in private equity share transfers and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory schemes and compliance frameworks across multiple ministries.
  • Competence in financial management, project management, and MCA compliances.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
