The Assistant Manager – Inventory & Dispatch role is a vital position in our organization that oversees centralized warehouse operations for uniforms, welcome kits, and student modules. The key responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless distribution to 200+ offline centers across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management

The primary task of the Inventory Manager is to ensure accurate stock keeping of all categories. This includes forecasting demand based on academic cycles and regional requirements. Supervising cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of physical vs. system inventory is also an essential part of this role.

Dispatch & Logistics Operations

  • Pan-India dispatches are executed within defined timelines by planning and executing them. Packing, labeling, and dispatch documentation must be accurate to ensure timely delivery.
  • Negotiating and coordinating with logistics/courier partners is necessary for resolving escalations and ensuring zero service gaps.

Process Compliance & Reporting

  • SOPs must be implemented for warehouse, inventory, and dispatch operations to maintain process compliance.
  • KPIs such as dispatch accuracy, turnaround time, and delivery adherence must be tracked.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of inventory & warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Prior experience in pan-India distribution (educational sector/retail/e-commerce preferred).
