We are seeking a seasoned culinary expert to lead our kitchen team with exceptional leadership skills, extensive culinary knowledge, and a proven track record of success in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
Main Responsibilities:

- Culinary Expertise: Maintain deep food knowledge and stay updated on culinary trends, ensuring consistency in taste and quality.
- Recipe Execution: Read, understand, and prepare company recipes, adhering to corporate instructions for quality and consistency.
- Task Efficiency: Complete tasks productively and efficiently, meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee any kitchen section, including food production, to ensure seamless operations.
Financial Acumen:
- Cost Containment: Manage costs effectively through proper use, handling, and maintenance of records, supplies, and equipment.
- Expense Reduction: Identify potential cost savings opportunities through careful analysis.
- Operational Analysis: Examine operational problems and establish controls to optimize performance.
Motivational Leadership:
- Workstation Management: Monitor and manage various workstation functions, delegating duties as needed.
- Staff Evaluation: Assess staff performance and work procedures to maintain quality standards and service excellence.
Qualifications and Education:
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service, with at least 2 years in a senior culinary role.
- Culinary Degree: A culinary school degree is required, demonstrating expertise in culinary arts.
