Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance and Operations expert to join our team as Co-Founder. The successful candidate will lead financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform.

  • Develop and implement financial models to drive business growth.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including investor relations and pitch deck development.
  • Build robust financial systems, accounting, compliance, reporting, and unit economics analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute marketplace operations playbook.
  • Develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity by ensuring enough hosts and events meet attendee demand.
  • Establish trust and safety operations, including dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to track event volume, ticket sales, host retention, and repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as the company grows.
Required Skills
  • Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
