Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced optical fiber, data, and communication cables for aerospace and defense applications.

  • Perform simulations and analyses to predict performance, reliability, and durability of data cables.
  • Develop and document technical specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
  • Participate in project planning, milestone tracking, and risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in R&D within the aerospace, defense, or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of data cable design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations.
