About the Role

This is a full-time on-site position for an Occupational Therapist at our organization located in Pune.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges. They will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate children's developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and parent/caregiver interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
