Financial Operations Coordinator

The Night Auditor role requires a skilled professional to oversee the overnight financial operations of a hotel.

The primary responsibilities include managing cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Key tasks include:

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally during nighttime hours.
  • Manage guest reservations, wake-up calls, taxi services, and shuttle arrangements efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional service to VIP guests with proactive follow-up as needed.
  • Process room charges, taxes, and invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts diligently.
  • Track key financial metrics such as room occupancy rates and revenues closely.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for management in a timely manner.
  • Verify completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts carefully.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee the hotel safe and ensure guest valuables security is maintained at all times.
  • Audit and reconcile daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments thoroughly.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a prompt and efficient manner.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of front desk experience at a managerial level.
  • Strong basic math and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
