Scientist for Emerging Food Applications

We are looking for a highly skilled scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge food applications.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer requirements and be able to define new emerging outstanding applications and workflows.
  • They will support marketing demonstration systems in the field, working closely with key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, and strategic customers.
  • The successful applicant will provide knowledge and support in the creation of workflow and application roadmaps and resonant customer solutions.
  • They will perform competitive benchmarking and marketing campaigns with voice-of-customer (VOC) technical data.
  • Additionally, they will train and enable the field demonstration and applications support teams.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as food science, food technology, or analytical chemistry is required; a master's or Ph.D. would be advantageous.
  • The candidate must have 5 years' hands-on experience working with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS, chromatography, and/or mass spectrometry analytical instrumentation in food safety, quality, or related areas.
  • Desirable additional experience includes ion chromatography.
