About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional HR Advisor to join our team in India. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on local employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices to People Leaders and employees across the region.
Your primary focus will be on managing and supporting HR initiatives that align with business needs, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance with local labor regulations. You will also partner with various stakeholders to drive enterprise strategy and ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, collaborate on innovative HR solutions, and gain valuable exposure to global and local HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advisory support for the India region, focusing on local employment laws, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Support the enterprise strategy by ensuring successful implementation of HR initiatives aligned with global business goals.
- Collaborate with employee relations teams to resolve issues, create positive employee relations environments, and ensure alignment with legal and organizational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes by leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to streamline operations and improve the employee experience.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Indian employment law, including labor regulations, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, including employee reviews, feedback, and improvement plans.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience with a strong generalist background, particularly in a regional advisory role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with leadership and employees.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and make informed decisions that support business outcomes.
