Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a JD Edwards Technical Specialist.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of JD Edwards Technical solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include providing technical support for JD Edwards applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • They will also contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation preparation.
  • In this role, you will engage in second-level support for service requests and system defects.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Extensive experience in JD Edwards Technical Modules, including Report, Application, Business Function, NER, BSSV, UDO, Processing option, and Data Structure.
  • Strong application testing skills for all system changes and projects.
  • Ability to resolve high-severity user issues and system defects.
  • Review and approve root cause analysis, workarounds, and support documentation.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to support analysts in resolving complex issues.
  • Interact with business users throughout the lifecycle of the support call from initiation to closure.
  • Resolve all JDE level 2 application support calls logged through the help desk.
