Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all Human Resource processes at project sites for renewable energy projects.

About the Role:

  • HR Operations Management: Manage end-to-end HR Operations for project staff, ensuring adherence to company HR policies. This includes leave & attendance management, reimbursement claims, and other related tasks.
  • Onboarding and Induction: Facilitate and coordinate effective onboarding and induction programs for all new site joiners, including freshers. You will conduct induction sessions, organize training programs, and ensure that new employees have a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Performance Management System (PMS): Coordinate goal setting, mid-year, and annual performance assessments. Ensure that performance feedback and appraisal processes are conducted efficiently at site level.
  • Goal Setting & KRAs: Assist site teams in cascading organizational and individual goals; monitor progress and support alignment of objectives.
  • Induction and Training: Conduct induction sessions for new joiners; coordinate, organize, and deliver training programs—especially for freshers on soft skills, company values, safety norms, and other technical/non-technical topics.
  • Records Management: Ensure accurate documentation and HRIS updates, and maintenance of employee records.

Conflict Resolution and Employee Retention:

  • Conflict Management: Act as the first point of contact for conflict resolution among site personnel; employ fair and transparent methods to resolve issues proactively.
  • Employee Engagement: Support engagement activities to drive motivation, promote wellbeing, and enhance retention at project sites. Drive employee engagement surveys for the site employees.
  • Grievance Redressal: Address and resolve grievances in a timely and sensitive manner as per HR policies. Record, track, and report grievances to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–7 years relevant experience in HR domain (preferably with site HR work and/or renewable energy project exposure).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, PMS, onboarding, grievance handling, and labour laws.
  • Experience in training freshers (ITIs, DETs, GETs) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently and work across multiple project locations.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in dynamic, remote site environments.
