Automation Developer Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Developer to join our international development team. As a key member, you will work on software development for automation, developing the SE Industrial Process and Module Control Suite basis and application software framework EAD business based on the TIA or PCS7 family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software for PCS 7, TIA, and PCS Neo for EAD business and application functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
  • Utilize Figma to create and maintain design documentation and user interfaces
  • Design HMI process screens based on the SCADA system WinCC, Ignition
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems
  • Work independently on backlog items and contribute to project deliverables
  • Provide training and support to end-users of automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems
Requirements:
  • Masters or bachelors degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 8 years of experience in industrial automation systems in the areas of R&D, product development, testing, and technical consulting
  • Expertise in DCS, drives, power electronics, and PMS, power management systems, safety systems
  • Extensive understanding of ISO IEC standards for Safety, IT OT security, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge on project-specific preparation of offers and develop technological concepts and functional specifications for complex automation solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of SCL, CFC, and IEC 61131 programming languages, S88 standards, S95 Standards
  • Understanding of Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Figma
