Automotive Smart Plant Consultant

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in setting up, stabilizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes utilizing MOM and Industry 4.0 concepts to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation on the production shopfloor.

Major industries include Automotive / EV (including Battery Pack Assembly) and Gigafactory (Cell Manufacturing).

A minimum of 7 years of overall experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate MES platform fitment across various strategic, financial, and functional pillars.
  • Determine areas for improvement, mine digital use cases, and develop strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and reduce cost.
  • Consult clients on automation, IoT, and data analytics in the manufacturing space.
  • Analyze production data using data analytics to extract insights, make data-driven decisions, and manage performance indicators.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to create client proposals with a mix of capability and industry point-of-view.
  • Thought leadership to demonstrate deep industry knowledge and innovation in manufacturing through POVs and assets.
  • Strong business development appetite while scanning market movements and creating opportunities for growth.
  • Effective project management abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in production management or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience working with Battery or EV OEMs or consulting firms in the Smart Plant vertical is highly beneficial.
