Job Title: Data Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Transformation Specialist to lead our data engineering team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data transformation pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in data engineering roles, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and dbt. They will be proficient in building robust and modular data pipelines using dbt, writing efficient SQL for data transformation and performance tuning in Snowflake, and managing environments, sources, and deployment pipelines in dbt.

The role involves ingesting, transforming, and delivering high-quality data to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including data analysts, data scientists, and data architects, to understand requirements and deliver clean, validated datasets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable ELT pipelines using dbt on Snowflake
  • Building ingestion pipelines from various sources into Snowflake
  • Implementing data modelling and transformation logic to support layered architecture
  • Leveraging orchestration tools to schedule and monitor data workflows
  • Applying dbt best practices for modular SQL development, testing, documentation, and version control

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering roles, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and dbt
  • Expert-level SQL and strong understanding of ELT principles
  • Familiarity with data quality and validation techniques
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment workflows in a team setting
