Financial Operations Specialist

About this role:

This position is responsible for banking and finance operations, including liaison with banks, managing cash, producing financial reports, and assisting in the execution of financing deals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaising with banks for banking operations
  • Assisting with daily cash management across various bank accounts
  • Producing daily MIS on liquidity
  • Obtaining 15CA/CB
  • Preparing weekly payment summaries
  • Reviewing employee claims
  • Managing credit cards
  • Procuring licenses
  • Producing monthly payment reports for accounting
  • Assisting with the execution of financing deals
  • Assisting with daily portfolio transfers, investor repayments, EMI repayments
  • Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts
  • Preparing and recording journal entries using NetSuite to support a timely month-end close
  • Assisting with timely payment of all statutory dues
  • Partnering with various departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management
  • Assisting the team in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly cash projections
  • Assisting with annual external audit, completing requested materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance or related areas
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, a good understanding of Excel preferred
