Job Description:

This role requires a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in time series forecasting, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and Python programming. You'll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and project managers to enhance our forecasting capabilities, drive product segmentation strategies, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing advanced time series forecasting models tailored to different product categories and business needs. You'll evaluate and improve forecast accuracy by establishing robust metrics and conducting regular performance assessments throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, you'll run what-if scenarios and simulations to assess the impact of various business conditions on forecast outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong focus on forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Statsmodels, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of time series analysis, machine learning algorithms, and NLP techniques.
  • Experience with data extraction and manipulation using SQL and/or cloud-based data tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and model deployment workflows.
