Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in software quality assurance practices and hands-on experience in testing enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
  • Ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all test processes and outcomes.
Test Execution:
  • Conduct manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Accurately log test results and report bugs or issues with precision.
Defect Management:
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
Automation & Tools:
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
  • Support ongoing improvement of the test automation framework and tools.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Around 3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Java or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade applications.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
