Oracle HCM Consultant Job Description

This role involves working with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of working experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Implementations for North America payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle HCM configurations.
  • Configure, test, and support Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Recruitment/Onboarding, Performance Management, and Compensation.
  • Lead implementation projects for Oracle HCM Cloud/Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Provide functional expertise during requirement analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Prepare detailed functional design documents, test cases, and user training materials.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integration, reports, and extensions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, data security, and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of functional experience in Oracle HCM (Cloud/Fusion or E-Business Suite).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting multiple HCM modules.
  • Strong knowledge of HCM business processes (hire-to-retire, payroll, compensation, etc.).
  • Experience with the implementation life cycle: requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Oracle HCM certification is a plus.
