Job Description

The Shift Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the execution, implementation, and monitoring of 100% screening of hold baggage and other security mandates at Passenger Terminals. This includes maintaining close interaction and coordination with stakeholders to optimize Inline security at IGI Airport.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation security, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, as they will be responsible for managing a team of staff members.

The Shift Incharge will be responsible for ensuring that all security procedures are followed and that any issues or incidents are reported and addressed promptly. They will also be responsible for preparing shift reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and monitoring TIP records to gauge staff performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BCAS/DGCA guidelines and regulations, as well as experience working with Inline Baggage Screening Systems. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with various stakeholders, including airlines, customs, and local police.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution, implementation, and monitoring of 100% screening of hold baggage and other security mandates at Passenger Terminals.
  • Maintain close interaction and coordination with stakeholders to optimize Inline security at IGI Airport.
  • Ensure that all security procedures are followed and that any issues or incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Prepare shift reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and monitor TIP records to gauge staff performance.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The location of this role is at the IGI Airport in India.

Requirements
  • Graduate with Basic AVSEC Course Certified mandatory.
  • Inline Baggage Screening Certified, Dangerous Goods Regulations Cat-12 Qualified and AVSEC Supervisory Course Certified are preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in aviation security field.
  • Experiences in Inline Baggage Screening System and good exposure in Supervisory role will be preferred.
