Wind Solutions Leader

This senior role is focused on overseeing the technical and commercial aspects of onshore wind business in India.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of onshore wind technology, project development, and execution. They will also possess strong leadership skills to manage teams and engage with clients and partners at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead solution development for onshore wind projects, ensuring technical excellence, cost competitiveness, and customer alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, commercial, and operations) to design integrated project solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership during bidding, contract negotiation, and project delivery phases.
  • Support the head of solutions in defining long-term strategy, driving innovation, and aligning solutions with global best practices.
  • Manage relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring delivery of value-added solutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers and solution specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to enhance positioning in India's wind sector.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
  • 15-20 years of experience in the onshore wind sector, with extensive exposure to solution design, project engineering, and delivery.
  • Proven track record in leading technical or solution teams for large-scale wind projects in India or internationally.
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine technology, project development, grid integration, and related commercial aspects.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical and commercial problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
