Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage our cloud infrastructure, streamline development processes, and ensure deployment reliability. As part of the engineering team, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized deployments, and improve infrastructure scalability and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various environments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Build and manage Docker containers, images, and Kubernetes deployments across staging and production environments
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible
  • Monitor system health and application logs using ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, or DataDog
  • Automate server provisioning and deployments on AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Implement security best practices for infrastructure and application layers
  • Support development and QA teams in debugging deployment issues and improving build performance
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and system hardening efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
  • Proficiency with containerization tools (Docker, Docker Compose) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their native services
  • Familiarity with Git, Git workflows, and release management
  • Good understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies
  • Knowledge of logging, tracing, and alerting systems
  • Exposure to serverless architectures or container-native CI/CD pipelines
