Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Control-M Platform Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Global Platform Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the Control-M platform, ensuring it remains highly available, stable, and running at optimal performance. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including System Administrators, IT Service Management, Application Teams, Scheduling Teams, and Computer Operations Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Administration: Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and management of the Control-M platform.
  • Review and Suggest Upgrade Path: Analyze and recommend Control-M upgrade paths to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Platform Monitoring: Implement proactive monitoring strategies to identify potential issues before they impact the platform.
  • Patching and Upkeep: Ensure timely patching and upkeep of the Control-M platform and agents to maintain security and stability.
  • Platform Security: Remediate vulnerability incidents promptly, adhering to vendor recommendations and best practices.
  • Incident Management: Resolve all incidents within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Change Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, following established change management processes.
  • Problem Management: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and close problem tickets within SLAs.
  • High Availability: Ensure the Control-M platform operates with high availability, maintaining architecture as designed, and suggesting ongoing modifications.
  • Disaster Recovery: Participate in regular IT disaster recovery tests to support the Control-M platform.
  • Documentation: Review existing documentation, update it to reflect current information, and create new documents as needed, storing them on Confluence.
  • MFT Support: Monitor applications, file transfers, and other related activities.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to the timely completion of project deliverables.
  • On-call and Weekend Support: Work on-call and weekend shifts as scheduled or required.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reviews: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of the platform, reporting findings and insights.
  • Audit Participation: Participate in audits, creating and presenting documentation and evidence as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with BMC to manage the Control-M platform effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Control-M Administration Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Level 3 administrator.
  • BMC Control-M Administration Certification: Possess a valid certification in BMC Control-M administration.
  • ITIL Certification: Hold a current ITIL certification.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
