About the Role:

As a Software Engineer for Power Platform Solutions at Behr Paint Company, you will play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This position requires a deep understanding of the Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Your expertise will extend to integrating Power Platform with other systems, ensuring data security, and guiding the development team in implementing best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and solution architects to understand business requirements, define solution objectives, and create an architectural roadmap for Power Platform projects.
  • Integration and Data Management: Architect integrations between Power Platform and other enterprise systems, such as CRM systems, SAP ERP systems, databases, or REST endpoints.
  • Solution Customization and Extension: Collaborate with other engineers to customize and extend Power Platform components, leveraging custom connectors, plugins, and other extension points.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and optimization opportunities within Power Platform solutions.
  • Security and Access Control: Define and implement security models and access controls within Power Platform solutions.
  • Solution Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and best practice guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to align solution architecture with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, out of which at least 3+ years in Power Platform field.
  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform components, including canvas and model-driven app development.
  • Proven experience in architecting enterprise-level integrations between Power Platform and other systems.
  • In-depth understanding of data management and security principles within Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and scalability considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with development teams.
