ServiceNow Platform Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow platform architect to lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including architecture, design, and implementation of various modules and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and development of ServiceNow platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and provide technical guidance on ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CSM, and others.
  • Integration Expertise: Design and oversee integrations with other systems using SOAP, REST, and other APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Governance and Best Practices: Establish and enforce platform governance, including design standards, coding practices, and documentation to ensure a consistent and high-quality implementation.
  • Platform Strategy: Work with leadership to define the ServiceNow platform roadmap, identifying opportunities for new features and enhancements.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the ServiceNow platform, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and guide developers and other team members, sharing best practices and ensuring a high level of technical proficiency across the team.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that the platform is secure and compliant with organizational policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development, including at least 3 years in a senior/architect role.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in ServiceNow architecture, including CMDB, Service Portal, Workflow, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Integration Skills: Experience with web services, REST, SOAP, JSON, and integrations with external systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and projects, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of other ITSM tools and technologies.
  • Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices.
