Job Title: Electric Power Technician

As a skilled Electric Power Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable performance and customer satisfaction of commercial vehicles.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in commercial vehicles, including wiring, battery, alternator, starter motor, lighting, sensors, etc.
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
  • Carrying out routine checks on batteries, wiring harnesses, fuses, relays, and electronic control units (ECU).
  • Installing, servicing, and repairing vehicle lighting, signaling, and accessories.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting issues with engine management systems, ABS, and other electronic components.
  • Maintaining job records, parts used, and work completed in job cards.
  • Ensuring all work is completed as per Eicher service standards and safety protocols.
  • Keeping tools, equipment, and the work area clean and well-maintained.
  • Supporting senior technicians during advanced repairs and system upgrades.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in using multimeters, diagnostic scanners, and basic electrical tools.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality service.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
