Key Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses.

Job Description:

As a data engineer, you will be responsible for architecting efficient data models, writing complex SQL queries, and optimizing query performance. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-performing data solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including query writing, optimization, and architecture.
  • Proven expertise in writing highly complex SQL queries that scale across very large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics-driven design.
  • Demonstrated success in query performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT workflows, including Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
  • Expertise in Python or other programming languages for data transformation and orchestration.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, etc.) and integration with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with caching and real-time frameworks such as Redis.
  • Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a focus on analytical workloads.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to push Snowflake to its technical limits.
