Job Overview:

As a Cloud Data Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines using core skills.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3 and Snowflake, as well as Python. They should also have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong experience in ETL methods, retrieving data from dimensional data models, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities include identifying foundational business data domain elements, collaborating with data product stewards to capture data definitions, and driving data source lineage reports. The role also involves recommending data extraction and replication patterns, migrating data from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, or Redshift, and optimizing the use of all available resources.

Requirements include excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills, as well as ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment. A working knowledge of migrating relational and dimensional databases on the AWS Cloud platform is also essential.

Additional Skills required are Shell scripting, exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills, relevant experience with ETL methods, and retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses. Strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL, is also required.
