This role will involve coordinating the accounts payable function. You'll also assist colleagues in identifying and implementing improvements within this process. To be successful, you'll need relevant experience in finance and accounting, specifically with accounts payable processes.

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Process invoices with purchase orders and non-purchase orders
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports
  • Perform production planning on a daily basis and allocate incoming volume accordingly
  • Have good knowledge of Excel reports like pivot tables, formulas, formatting, and data cleansing
  • Resolve queries related to incorrect postings, reversals, and corrections
  • Support team members in processing corrections by clarifying their doubts and confusions
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are reviewed regularly and updated with the latest information
  • Review and process invoices while providing resolutions for invoices and releasing them for payment
  • Review incoming supplier/internal customer requests for specialty payments
  • Create and process specialty payment processes
  • Process and research items related to manual check processes
  • Research and complete compliance reports for areas defined as controls by clients
  • Use multiple systems and process documentation to complete tasks
  • Communicate decisions regarding payments or non-payments of invoices or special requests clearly and confidently
  • Respond to customer requests from legal, internal/external audit, or business units, assisting with management responses and resolutions for in-scope areas of responsibility
  • Work on multiple ERP systems and manual intensive nature of work
  • Able to handle vendor master queries, payment runs, T&E, and month-end reconciliations
  • Work on helpdesk query management, exception handling such as blocked invoices and aged items
  • Maintain 100% accuracy of invoice processing and monthly reports
  • Report taxes while processing region-specific invoices according to requirements
  • Understanding of helpdesk operations would be an added advantage
