Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

This position involves administration, configuration, deployment, installation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud environments using containerization technologies and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage, file storage, and object storage.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate cloud environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying cloud infrastructure using containerization technologies and orchestration platforms.
  • Relevant 3-5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2-3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage.
  • Strong proficiency in automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
