Job Title: Snowflake Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake professional to lead our data platform development, enhancements, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient Snowflake pipelines, data models, and transformations to drive business growth.
  • Production Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Snowflake jobs, queries, and integrations, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot failed jobs, resolve incidents, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime.
  • Query Tuning: Tune queries, monitor warehouses, and help optimize Snowflake usage and cost to maximize ROI.
  • Service Requests: Handle service requests like user provisioning, access changes, and role management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Documentation: Document issues, enhancements, and standard procedures (runbooks) to maintain knowledge base and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and support.
  • SQL Skills: Strong SQL skills with expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Certifications: SnowPro Core Certification is a plus.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
  • Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • ITIL Processes: Basic understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data Pipelines: Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools like ADF.
  • Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell.
