We are seeking a skilled Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and embedded systems, with experience designing and developing reliable electronics that operate under unforgiving conditions.

About the Role

This position involves designing, prototyping, and testing PCBs for embedded and IoT devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, validating, and qualifying electronic components for rugged and high-reliability use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PCBs for embedded and IoT devices, ensuring reliability and performance under harsh conditions.
  • Select and qualify electronic components that meet stringent requirements for ruggedness and reliability.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for hardware failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support EMI/EMC testing and ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
Integration & Validation
  • Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers to integrate hardware components into end-to-end systems.
  • Own hardware validation, debugging, and certification compliance, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new components, tools, and design methodologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate design documentation, testing reports, and compliance records, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, reliability, and quality standards across all deliverables, meeting industry benchmarks.
Requirements
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field, with a strong focus on embedded systems.
  • 2–5 years of experience in PCB design and embedded hardware engineering, with a proven track record of delivering reliable solutions.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, and other industry-standard software.
  • Strong understanding of EMC/EMI testing and certification processes, with experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Familiarity with ruggedization techniques for aerospace/defense applications and power optimization for IoT systems.
