Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer with expertise in various electronics/electrical components.

This individual will deliver efficient engineering support and contribute to the growth of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop testing methods for evaluating electrical products and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on obsolescence activities, qualify replacements, and perform system testing.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of engineering solutions, working closely with mechanical, software, system, and process engineering teams worldwide.
  • Create design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout the design and development phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience.
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings.
Essential Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of electronic components, schematics, and system interconnects.
  • Ability to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in part lifecycle management using PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of PCB and component understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics component testing.
  • Familiarity with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
