Job Overview

As a Power Electronics Hardware Development Specialist, you will lead the design and development of advanced power electronics systems for high-voltage battery systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end hardware designs for power electronics systems, including BMS and battery management interfaces.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams to define system hardware architecture and component specifications.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-power designs to ensure EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety.
  • Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and automotive standards.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in power electronics hardware development.
  • Expertise in designing high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in PCB layout and simulation tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
