Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Sports Program Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee the college's sports and recreational programs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sports and education to make a positive impact on our campus community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating sports events, tournaments, and practice sessions. They will also promote sports activities and encourage student participation, providing support and guidance to student-athletes and sports teams as needed.

Maintaining accurate records of student-athlete performance, eligibility, and compliance with college policies is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, the Sports Program Coordinator will prepare and submit reports on sports program activities and outcomes, ensuring that we are meeting our goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field (Master's or higher degree preferred)
  • Previous experience in sports management or a similar role in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of sports regulations, safety practices, and event management
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for program management
