About the Role: Senior Program Manager (Policy)

We are looking for an experienced and impact-driven Senior Program Manager – Policy to lead the monitoring, analysis, and implementation of key government flagship schemes. This role will be instrumental in ensuring effective service delivery, identifying on-ground challenges, and recommending strategic policy enhancements through structured feedback and cross-departmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Lead the design and execution of monitoring frameworks for key government schemes.
  • Analyze implementation data to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and measure impact.
  • Regularly present findings to senior stakeholders with actionable insights
  • Field Assessments & Ground-Level Insights
  • Conduct and oversee field visits, stakeholder interviews, and beneficiary feedback exercises.
  • Surface systemic and local challenges affecting policy outcomes and service delivery.
  • Strategic Policy Advisory
  • Develop recommendations for improving scheme design and implementation based on field evidence.
  • Prepare policy briefs, white papers, and presentations for high-level government review.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination
  • Facilitate coordination across multiple government departments and agencies to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between on-ground implementers and policymakers.
  • Team Leadership & Capacity Building
  • Lead a team of analysts and program associates; ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Mentor junior staff and build capacity for rigorous program and policy analysis.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a Tier-1 institute (IIT/IIM/NLU/NIT/ISB/JNU/Delhi University – SRCC/Stephens/Hindu or equivalent).
  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields will be given preference.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in government advisory, program management, or public policy consulting.
  • Prior experience working with state or central government schemes is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience in managing teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic and political environments.
