Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering top-level expertise in the analysis and identification of malicious activity. This role will provide training and support to junior and senior analysts and serve as the final review point before escalation to the response team. Additionally, this position will involve creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other departmental documents, as well as reviewing the work of other analysts and performing other duties.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst include:

  • Performing security event analysis in a leading SIEM system in a shift environment and supporting Level 1 and 2 analysts engaged in the same task.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data from disparate systems and perform data analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience and knowledge of two or more of the following security-related technologies: intrusion prevention systems, web proxies, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, firewalls, web application scanners, vulnerability scanners, malware research tools, or forensics tools.
