About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our internal audit department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing innovative solutions to complex business problems, planning and managing high-risk financial situations, and analyzing core issues in business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge strategies to drive financial performance and enhance governance.
  • Design and implement effective financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.
  • Analyze business processes to identify key areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
  • Lead the monthly closing process, prepare detailed profitability statements, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Head the internal audit team, design and implement audit tools to improve efficiencies, and monitor controls to prevent financial misstatements.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and audit plans to ensure risk management and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports, including quarterly audits and annual budget preparations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes and financial reviews.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must hold a CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration, with a minimum 20 years experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance.
