Job Title:

Senior Data Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in data engineering and a strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, secure, and scalable data pipelines and systems that power reporting, analytics, and operational use cases.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Power BI (Must)
  • Snowflake (Must)
  • Python (Must)
  • Complex SQL Query Writing (Must) – Experience with joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning
  • Fivetran (Good to have)
  • DBT (Good to have)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, and Python
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformations, analytics, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards by integrating Snowflake and other data sources
  • Integrate and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for reporting and analytics
  • Implement end-to-end data flows with minimal supervision, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
  • Collaborate with product owners to validate requirements, define data logic, and ensure data completeness and correctness
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Snowflake, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with Fivetran, DBT, and other data transformation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
