Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced data professional to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and data warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

About the Role:

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in data engineering, who is passionate about working with big data technologies and driving business growth through data-driven decision-making.

  • Data Pipeline Design and Development: You will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on GCP to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Data Warehouse Solutions: Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Data Quality and Security: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and processes.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of data pipeline design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouse architecture and development.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and optimizing data workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Apart from the above requirements, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with additional cloud platforms or big data technologies.
  • Relevant certifications in GCP or data engineering.
