Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of a Data Migration Specialist. This key position involves leading end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap aligned with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements and transformation logic.
  • Identify data sources, assess readiness, quality, and potential risks.
  • Execute data migration activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement automated and repeatable data migration processes.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of migrated data with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and BAAN.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
