Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • This role involves implementing and enforcing CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • A strong technical leader is required to provide guidance and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Audit and resolve discrepancies in CMDB data on a regular basis.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
