We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Professional to manage our firm's financial operations, ensure compliance with US taxation and accounting standards, and oversee payroll management for Indian employees.

This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll operations. We work closely with the finance team to achieve these goals.

  • Fund Accounting:
  • Maintain general ledgers, journals, and financial statements for the fund.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Oversee fund performance tracking, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • US Taxation Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with US taxation laws for venture capital funds.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in US tax regulations affecting the fund's operations and investor relations.
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and tax planning.
  • Payroll Management (Indian Employees):
  • Oversee the payroll processing for Indian employees, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage the calculation of salaries, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and handle all related administrative tasks.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits, providing insights into the financial health of the firm.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making at the leadership level.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that financial operations comply with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all financial transactions, audits, and tax filings.
