Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Client Financial Services Analyst to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the billing process, ensuring accurate invoicing to clients, and working closely with legal teams and stakeholders to develop effective strategies for recovering outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Billing Collections Process Oversight
  • Taking ownership of the billing process and ensuring all invoices are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring billing collections deadlines and requirements are met monthly.
Client Interaction
  • Handling complex client inquiries and resolving billing-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • High-frequency customer contact via phone calls and emails to ensure prompt resolution of billing issues and payments.
Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Maintaining meticulous and organized billing and collection records, including client invoices, payment receipts, aging reports, and collection activities.
  • Generating comprehensive financial reports for management, offering insights and recommendations for process improvement.
Escalation
  • Escalating accounts to the Accounts Receivable manager if needed with a recommended action.
  • Recommending settlements and payment arrangements in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
Billing Software and Systems
  • Leveraging deep knowledge of billing software and financial systems to optimize billing procedures and efficiency.
  • Staying updated on industry-specific billing software and best practices.
Compliance
  • Ensuring that all billing collections practices comply with client billing guidelines, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Research
  • Providing customer service regarding collection issues, reviewing and processing account adjustments, resolving client discrepancies and short payments, small balance write-offs, and customer reconciliations.
Collaborative Leadership
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, project managers, and sales representatives to optimize billing and collections processes and strategies.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing billing and collections process improvements.
