Job Title: Compensation Specialist

Educational Qualification: M.Com / MBA (Finance preferred)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee end-to-end compensation operations for US and Canadian entities. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, compliance regulations, and tax-related procedures, coupled with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and compliant compensation processing for US and Canada-based employees.
  • Manage ADP, PayChex, and QuickBooks payroll tools effectively.
  • Prepare and file 401K reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Review and reconcile unemployment tax rates, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US compensation laws, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams for compensation inputs, audits, and reporting.
  • Address employee compensation inquiries and provide effective resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in US compensation management (Canada compensation knowledge a plus).
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP, PayChex, and QuickBooks payroll systems.
  • Hands-on experience in 401K report filing and tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy and confidentiality.
